Well appointed self-catering cottage in the Highlands of Scotland

Map & Directions

Our self catering cottage is located above the tranquil village of Badachro, near Gairloch in the Western Highlands.

How to get to Little Aird Hill, Badachro

You can get to Inverness by plane, train, bus or car, and if you print out this page and the map from Google (opens in a new window) before you leave home, you’ll find us easily.

You really need a car for the last bit. Badachro is remote and that is one of the things that make it so attractive.

The drive from Inverness to Badachro takes around 1 and a half hours through stunningly beautiful scenery, over Glen Docherty (with a view west over Loch Maree that takes your breath away) and then along the lochside before cutting inland for the last wee stretch.

The road flattens out a few miles before Gairloch and you should turn left (signposted Badachro) over a beautiful old stone bridge. Another 3.5 miles along this road and you will arrive at Badachro. As you enter the village, look over the bay and you’ll see Aird Hill on the hill in front of you. Drive to the far end of the village, where you should take a sharp right turn (sign-posted ‘Aird Hill B&B’) and we are the first gate on your left.

Don’t hesitate to call us for help with directions.

Safe journey!

A Perfect Place to Relax & Enjoy the Scenery
We had a really fantastic time. Gordon and Vanessa were wonderful and we were made to feel most welcome. They had thought of everything and the accommodation lacked nothing.
